Fleeing Driver Crashes Impala Into Brick Sign

POLICE PURSUIT QUICKLY ESCALATES

The incident begins with officers attempting to stop a Chevrolet Impala. Instead of remaining at the scene, THE DRIVER FLED, FORCING POLICE TO FOLLOW AS THE VEHICLE MOVED THROUGH THE AREA.

The pursuit continued toward a commercial area where a LifeSouth Community Blood Centers sign can be seen near the roadway.

THE IMPALA LOSES CONTROL

As the fleeing vehicle approached the entrance, the driver suddenly lost control. The Impala veered off the road and headed directly toward the brick sign.

SECONDS LATER, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE BRICK STRUCTURE WITH SIGNIFICANT FORCE.
