Extremely Drunk Door-Dasher Drives 116 MPH in a Kia
YOUNG WOMAN QUESTIONED INSIDE KIA DURING LATE-NIGHT POLICE ENCOUNTER
A late-night police encounter captures a young woman sitting behind the wheel of a Kia while speaking directly with an officer standing outside her open door.
Bodycam footage shows the driver wearing a white top, with her hair pulled back by a large purple clip. The interior lights and officer's flashlight illuminate the cabin while the road outside remains almost completely dark.
The woman appears to be explaining something with one hand extended toward the officer.
At this point, SHE IS STILL IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND THE ENCOUNTER APPEARS TO BE VERBAL.
But the biggest question remains unanswered:
WHY DID POLICE APPROACH HER VEHICLE IN THE FIRST PLACE?

THE DRIVER REMAINS INSIDE THE KIA
The Kia logo on the steering wheel provides one of the clearest details in the footage.
The driver's door appears open while the woman remains seated behind the wheel. She is talking with the officer rather than visibly attempting to leave the scene.
There is no obvious physical struggle in this frame.
That means viewers are seeing the investigation while it is still developing.
A CONVERSATION AT THE DRIVER'S DOOR CAN CHANGE QUICKLY DEPENDING ON WHAT AN OFFICER OBSERVES OR LEARNS.

HER GESTURE SUGGESTS SHE IS EXPLAINING HER SIDE
The woman's open hand and expression suggest an active conversation.
However, a still frame cannot tell us whether she is answering a routine question, disagreeing with the officer or describing something that happened before police arrived.
That distinction is important.
It would be tempting to label a nighttime driver encounter as a DUI investigation, but THERE IS NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE IN THIS IMAGE TO MAKE THAT CLAIM.
The original bodycam needs to establish whether sobriety, speeding, a crash, a complaint or something completely different caused the police contact.

A RECORDS CHECK CAN COMPLETELY CHANGE A TRAFFIC STOP
Police encounters involving vehicles sometimes change direction only after officers check the driver's information.
In one documented New York case involving a Kia, a trooper initially stopped the vehicle after it was recorded traveling 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Authorities discovered that none of its three occupants had a valid license. During a subsequent inventory search before towing, a loaded handgun fell from the glove compartment, and the occupants were then taken into custody.
THAT IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT INCIDENT FROM THE WOMAN SHOWN HERE.
It simply demonstrates why the opening moments of a vehicle stop may reveal very little about how it eventually ends.

ANOTHER KIA CASE SHOWS WHY IDENTIFICATION MATTERS
St. Petersburg Police released bodycam in an unrelated 2024 case after an officer's cruiser was struck during a traffic stop on I-375. Police later identified the alleged driver of the white Kia and announced charges including serious-bodily-injury hit-and-run.
Again, THIS IS NOT THE WOMAN IN YOUR IMAGE.
The comparison is useful because simply searching “woman + Kia + bodycam” produces unrelated cases. A reliable identification needs the same person, vehicle, location and sequence—not just the same make of car.
WHAT CAN WE ACTUALLY CONFIRM?
From your screenshot, we can safely establish that a young woman is sitting in the driver's seat of a KIA during a nighttime police encounter.
The driver's side is accessible to the officer, and she is actively speaking and gesturing toward police.
What remains unverified is her:
NAME — CITY — POLICE DEPARTMENT — REASON FOR THE STOP — WHETHER SHE WAS SUSPECTED OF DUI — WHETHER FIELD SOBRIETY TESTS OCCURRED — AND WHETHER SHE WAS ARRESTED.
The public cases I checked do not visually match this footage closely enough to responsibly fill in those details.

WHAT HAPPENED AFTER SHE STEPPED OUT?
That's the natural hook of this footage.
At this moment, she is still behind the wheel.
She's talking.
She's explaining something.
And the officer is listening.
BUT DID THE CONVERSATION END THERE?
DID THE OFFICER ASK HER TO STEP OUT?
DID SOMETHING INSIDE THE VEHICLE CHANGE THE INVESTIGATION?
OR WAS SHE EVENTUALLY ALLOWED TO DRIVE AWAY?
The screenshot captures the conversation before the outcome becomes clear.
SHE'S STILL SITTING BEHIND THE WHEEL — BUT THE NEXT FEW MINUTES OF BODYCAM WILL DETERMINE WHETHER THIS REMAINS A SIMPLE ROADSIDE CONVERSATION OR BECOMES SOMETHING MUCH MORE SERIOUS.
She was still explaining herself from the driver's seat. Click the link to watch the full encounter and find out what the officer did next.
