113 MPH Police Chase Ends in a Wild Foot Pursuit

A routine traffic stop quickly spiraled into a HIGH-SPEED POLICE PURSUIT when a driver allegedly refused to stop for officers. The chase continued onto the highway, where the fleeing vehicle reportedly reached approximately 113 MPH as officers attempted to bring the dangerous pursuit to an end.

But stopping the vehicle was only the beginning. After officers managed to disable the car, the driver allegedly abandoned the vehicle and FLED ON FOOT, turning an already intense pursuit into another dangerous challenge for law enforcement.

THE TRAFFIC STOP QUICKLY ESCALATES

What initially appeared to be a normal traffic stop changed when the driver refused to cooperate and accelerated away from officers.

THE VEHICLE QUICKLY REACHED EXTREME SPEEDS, forcing police to follow while monitoring traffic and road conditions.

THE VEHICLE REACHES 113 MPH

The pursuit became even more dangerous as the fleeing driver reportedly reached 113 MPH.

At those speeds, there is little room for error. A sudden lane change, unexpected traffic, or loss of control could have serious consequences.

THE CAR IS STOPPED — BUT THE DRIVER RUNS

Eventually, officers were able to bring the vehicle to a stop. However, the incident was far from over.

Instead of remaining inside the vehicle, the driver reportedly ABANDONED THE CAR AND RAN FROM POLICE.

Officers immediately shifted their attention from the vehicle to the fleeing suspect, beginning a foot pursuit through the surrounding area.

A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE

The sudden foot pursuit created a completely different challenge. Officers now had to search for a suspect who had left the vehicle and attempted to disappear on foot.

After the intense pursuit and subsequent foot chase, officers were eventually able to bring the situation under control.
